Upon order of the U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of
18 the Ninth Circuit, this action was referred to the
19 district court, under the above-referenced case No. CV
20 12-09775-VAP, and assigned to United States District
21 Judge Virginia A. Phillips.

Pursuant to "Notice Re: Bankruptcy Appeal Briefing
24 Schedule" (Doc. No. 10) filed in this matter, Appellant
25 Arna Susan Vodenos ("Appellant") was required to file an
26 opening brief by June 4, 2013.
Appellant did not file an
27 opening brief by the deadline and neither party made a
28 request with this Court for an order extending the
1 deadlines to submit the required filings.

Accordingly, the Court ordered the Appellant to show
5 cause, in writing, on or before August 2, 2013, as to why
6 this action should not be dismissed for failure to
7 prosecute the appeal.
