The government moves for summary affirmance and, alternatively, for an extension of time to file its brief. Because Parker does not meaningfully challenge the denial of the § 3582(c)(2) motion, he has abandoned the critical issue in the appeal. See Brinkmann v. Dall. Cty. Deputy Sheriff Abner, 813 F.2d 744, 748 (5th Cir. 1987). The government’s motion for summary affirmance is GRANTED, and the judgment is AFFIRMED. The government’s alternative motion for an extension of time to file its brief is DENIED as unnecessary. 2
