ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the conviction be affirmed. The district court properly treated the bag containing the cocaine as abandoned. See United States v. Lewis, 921 F.2d 1294, 1303 (D.C. Cir. 1990); United States v. Carrasquillo, 877 F.2d 73, 76 (D.C. Cir. 1989).

The Clerk is directed to withhold issuance of the mandate herein until seven days after disposition of any timely petition for rehearing. See D.C. Cir. Rule 15.
