(b) The officers and employees of a licensee under this chapter being examined by the commissioner shall exhibit to the commissioner, or any officer designated by him or her, on request, any or all of its accounts, books, correspondence, papers, memorandums, agreements or other documents or records relevant or material to the examination and shall otherwise facilitate such examination so far as it may be in their power to do so. (c) For the purposes of any examination or proceeding under this chapter, the commissioner or any officer designated by the commissioner may administer oaths and affirmations, and may by issuance of a subpoena, compel the appearance of any person, and require the production of any books, papers, correspondence, memorandums, agreements or other documents or records relevant or material to the examination or proceeding. (d) Where the principal place of business of any licensee under this chapter is located in another state, the commissioner may, in his or her discretion, in lieu of any examination provided for herein, accept a certified copy of the report of examination completed by the licensing or other authority having regulatory jurisdiction over the issuance and sale of traveler's checks of another state.
